Tuesday Morning Musings

- I love these worship services.
- It works out that about once a year we teach on worship. We start the service like any other. But instead of a long teaching, we do a little teaching on worship, go back into the music. Teach a little more, go back into music. Teach, then music till either everyone is tired, the worship team loses their voice, or we run out of time.
- We ran out of time.
- I think I pulled something in all the dancing.
- Seriously, Monday I was walking with a limp. Those definitely were not my dancing shoes.
- Note to self: Get dancing shoes.
- We had a great crowd with a bunch of new faces. Not sure how they all reacted to the different service format but it was good to see them nonetheless.
- Khamille preached a message about being created to worship. It was Fiyah! I was so proud of her. She was given an opportunity and she ran with it. There is no way you could have known this was the fist time she preached I try to tell folks, if you are called, you are called.
- Khamille is the president of our ASD class. Never underestimate the grace that comes upon folks that serve.
- Serving opens doors of blessing and favor.
- At the end of service I was completely sweaty. I could not wait to get home.
- We recently had a change of leadership in Misison Kids and the Hospitality ministries and both Denise and Cynthia are killing it! So thankful for the both of them.
- Both of those ministries are going to see radical growth in the next few months.
- After service, I went home and took the mother of all naps. Tracey took the kids to a birthday party and I knocked out.
- We have David Copeland coming next week and I could not be more excited.
