The Day After

WooHoo!- Great day at The Mission! I mean a really great day at The Mission.
- The Mission is not for everyone. But for the folks that get it, they love it.
- We had a band do a song for the very first time during the offering and the altar call. During the sound check I would be lying if I did not tell you that I was a little nervous. But they really killed it. I heard Kim Walker do a song during a podcast last year and I fell in love with the song. I ripped the song off the video and loaded it on my ipod. It has not been recorded and you can’t find it anywhere. In February I gave a copy to Serg and Khamille and told them I want them to do the song with a band on Easter.
- No we did not have a band.
- No I was not concerned about finding a band.
- You can see the video of Kim Walker’s song Still Believe here.
- Kim, if you see this, great song! Get it recorded so I can buy the cd.
- Huge crowd yesterday. Folks did not believe me and did not put out enough chairs.
- Preached on the fact that He is the God of all hope.
- I presented the Gospel but did not give an altar call for salvation. I told people what they needed to do to get saved and said that if they decided to do that then to fill out a connection card and indicated that they made that decision. Then I had an altar call for healing in the body.
- 7 people filled out connection cards saying they made a decision to follow Jesus.
- Good stuff.
Praise God !
