Saturday Morning Musings
Christmas Service. Lots of folks
- Lots of people came to help with setup.
- Sound check went really well.
- Favorite pic of the night? Easy, my wife singing Silent Night
- We used to sing that to our kids every night. Sometime two and three times a night
- I must have sung that song 1500 times in the last eight years.
- My wife singing it in my church? Priceless!
- The special singers and speakers did a great job
- Thought they would preach longer.
- Pleased they didn’t. They know that speaking is not a one shot deal.
- Good response to the message.
- Holy Spirit really touched hearts
- Most did not know that Serg and Khamille had colds
- When I announced that Khamille was going to sing again, you should have seen how big her eyes got.
- You got to be able to roll with whatever if you are going to be part of the team here
- Even though we went hoarse during her last song she still stepped up with no excuses and sang
- News flash for those wanting to be in ministry: Sure fire way to get opportunities? Make things easier on your leader. Do whatever is needed of you.
- We need some child care.
- By the end of the night I was completely exhausted.
- Overall? Just a great night.
- Pics here
- Podcast here
- Got some great gifts. Thanks again for all you gift givers.
- Looking froward to the new year
- I don’t like these bullets. I have to make different ones.
