Sunday Night Thoughts

November 8, 2009 at 6:56 pm Posted in Misc
  • Preached the Gospel today.
  • I can’t tell you how painful it is to watch people give up their calling for sin.  I felt like God was stretching out his hand to some people to come back into relationship with Him.  Sad how far some can slide.
  • I know in my spirit that today was a warning for some people that really rocky times are ahead if they do not repent.
  • I am amazed how many people just disregard those warnings.
  • I have given some folks the most accurate prophecies that mapped out whole seasons of their lives but when the word of correction comes they act like you are just another voice.  It is amazing to watch what pride will do.
  • It was incredible to watch the Holy Ghost touch hearts this morning in others.  Even before the altar call folks were weeping all over the worship center.
  • I was not sure if I heard God right on what the word was supposed to be.  When Khamille and Tracey each prophesied the message independent of each other I had an idea we were on the right path.
  • When the Holy Ghost dropped in the room near the end I had a clue we were on the right path.
  • When the altar was flooded with people crying out for forgiveness I felt like we walked the right path.
  • Had a good meeting with the folks who are going to be in my Advanced Discipleship Group.
  • I am going to write a little more about that later in the week.
  • I love the people of The Mission.
  • Podcast is up.
  • Photos . . . not.
  • Did I mention I met banning liebscher last night?  Cool dude.  He’s walking in something.
  • Spent way too much on lunch.  Definitely will not be returning there for lunch again.
  • Peace.
  • One more thing.  I know God is speaking some words that seem hard right not to the hearts of some of the folks of The Mission.  If you think you are the only one, you are not.  Here is the thing.  The words are only hard if you have been resisting the Holy Ghost in that area of your life.  Walk in submission to the Spirit of God and the leaders He has given you and life will be easier.
