Service Recap Fathers Day Edition
June 21, 2009 at 5:07 pm Posted in The Mission
Happy Father’s Day- When my kids woke up they gave me cute cards.
- My wife gave me this cool shirt. If I am wearing anything that looks nice, my wife gave it to me. —>
- Had some key folks out so we started a little late due to technical difficulties that I won’t list.
- On another note . . . Why oh why does MediaShout love to crash?
- I was blown away by worship today.
- Good crowd
- I had to have Sergio come up and sing another song after the offering because I was out of it.
- Near the end of the third song, I was on my face when the Lord began to talk to me. Right then Sergio had a tongue. I was on fire. I was not ready to get up and preach for a few minutes
- Baptism next week!
- I love baptisms!
- We have to find a way to have them at our meeting location.
- We talked about our responsibility in our sanctification
- Not the most popular topic in church planting circle but it will get folks free!
- I want people to be free
- We have some shifts in the works.
- There was such a freedom in the service.
- Had an altar call for folks to present themselves as living sacrifices.
- The problem with a living sacrifice is that it can take itself off the altar. That is why we are supposed to kill the old man. More on that next sermon.
- We have some of the coolest people joining The Mission. I can’t believe it.
- I took a couple stabs at the lukewarm church movement. Hope that does not offend anyone I care about.
- Prayed for a woman with fibromyalgia. I have been praying for a decade for an anointing for healing fibromyalgia. That would make my week. She said she felt better when we were done.
- We need more fire. I am gonna have to preach a series on the fire of God soon I think.
- Send the fire Lord!
- Tracey took me out for some ribs and wings after service. I love ribs and wings.
- Right now I am stuffed and happy.
- Tonight she is making me chicken parmigiana. That is my favorite dinner and I don’t get tired of it.
- Podcast and pics are up.
- Stick a fork in me, I am done.
- peace!

Hey Carl!
You can practice praying for me. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia a little over a year now, but suffering started almost 2 years prior.
Glad you had such a great Father’s Day,
