Sent to be a Blessing
Mark 16:17-18
“these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
If you a born again believer, you need to realize that the moment you walk into a room the probability of miracles just shifted.
Because you believe, the folks in the room can now be delivered. Because you believe people will speak in new tongues. Because you you believe people no longer need to be sick. That’s a radical thought but it is right there in the bible. The words are even in red so you know they are important!
As you travel around this week begin to realize that you have been sent by God to connect people with Him (2 Cor 5). Then, focus on doing the things He said would tell the world the Kingdom of God is at hand (luke 10). It changes everything.

Read it yesterday because of a Tweet. Read it this morning because it was sitting in Google Reader. Seriously, it’s giving me chills. It’s an amazing calling with great responsibility, and if we don’t step up, who will?
