Saturday Morning Musings

• I live for nights like last night
• The return of the green pool —–>
• This was the wrong week to miss service
• I finished up our Download series, if anyone wants the graphics for your church shoot me an email
• About the third song the anointing just rolled into the room.  It was so sweet
• I love it when the worship team can be on stage and be sensitive to the anointing that they can be quiet and let the Holy Ghost do His thing
• Bunch of visitors
• Some of those visitors got saved
• Some of those visitors got saved and baptized
• We had problems with the mix last night and setup took longer than usual
• Sergio was not excited about sharing the stage with a large pool but when he realized that’s what I wanted he said he would make it work.  And he did!
• Worship leaders, take a note from Sergio.  It’s your job to help usher in the vision of the Pastor.
• Sergio and I are getting to the place where we are starting to get the same words from God.
• Couple weeks ago I went to him with the idea for a song titled “I am free” at 140 beats per minute.  He had just finished laying down the hook for a song with the chorus “I am free” at 140 bpm.  His hook was better than mine.
• That song is the most popular one we do right now.
• I was playing around on the mics before service and my voice paid for it.  I preached myself hoarse last night and I am still hoarse today.
• I think I preached the strongest, grace-based yet cut to the core, messages I have ever preached last night.
• I am expecting some really good fruit from it.
• This was our last service in the fellowship hall of Cason United Methodist Church
• I am actually gonna miss the green linoleum
• The church asked us to use their main sanctuary next week!
• This is a dream come true.  I have wanted to preach in this church for years!
• I laid hands on everybody in the room that wanted prayer last night and prayed that they would allow themselves to be pruned and that it would cause them to bear more fruit.
• Had a bunch of folks answer the altar call
• I need to get the number of folks that got baptized last night
• Forgot to count
• One girl had an ongoing open vision of Jesus, heaven, the end times, and received a call.  It was really unbelievable.
• I was exhausted at the end
• We always bring extra clothes to baptisms.  We always have people who get baptized who were not planning on getting dunked.
