Resurrection Day Reflections
April 13, 2009 at 6:41 pm Posted in The Mission

- This list is a little late. I have a bit of a post-service hangover today.
- I had a plan for my message and the Holy Ghost had another. He won out
- Official launch in our new facility
- We did not do a mailer or anything
- Sunday morning just feels right
- At the end of the message Holy Spirit cam in like a flood
- I love that!
- Bunch of folks raised their hands for salvation
- Met some new folks that are going to be some serious warriors for Jesus
- Can’t wait till I can call them friends
- Lots of parents came today
- My mother heard me preach for the first time ever
- After service she rebuked a visitor for rolling their eyes when I was preaching
- hmmmmm
- We started setting up on Fridays
- Failure in leadership. I think the setup team thought that meant there was nothing to do on Sunday
- Definitely NOT the case
- My wife and I were running around like chickens with their heads cut off getting ready for service
- Khamille and Lilian did songs
- Sergio rocked it like normal
- I need a little table to put my water bottles on
- I could go through half a gallon of water when I preach if I was able
- I could not find my anointing oil. Luckily I oil stored up on the inside of me
- Saw a dude get completely delivered from a demon
- I am not trying to start a Baptist church.
- I am Spirit filled. I want my people to be Spirit filled.
- Christian discipleship starts with the baptism in the Holy Ghost.
- I am going to preach on that more than ever in the coming months.
- I used new connection cards and people actually checked the little boxes indicating that they received Christ as their Savior in the service
- Who knows how many people got saved at The Mission in the past year that we did not know about
- Good News: Jesus knows
- Gotta get them wet and filled with the Holy Ghost
- No Easter eggs today. We just say no to Pagan celebrations
- We won’t fast on Ramadan or gamble for Diwali either – not sure why this is so controversial
- Had lunch at the Chinese buffet, too full to eat diner that night

The Mission Kids went well too – many thanks to the children’s workers.
If you are reading this and you know where the anointing oil is, please let me know!
