Resources for Christian Graphic Artists

I am no graphic designer but I do a fair amount of graphic design. My graphic design philosophy is “simple and clean.” When designs get too complicated they are generally less effective at communicating the message. Another reason is because my skills are so limited I can’t do anything fancy. I would much rather a clean simple design than a fancy ugly design.
If you are a designer or hope to be one, there are a bunch of places to get inspiration online. Here are a few:
- CreativeMYK: Lots of free downloads.
- Church Media Design: Watch the video podcast for tutorials on all kinds of design.
- Already Been Chewed: This dude has some serious design skilz!
- Worship House Media: Lots of stuff
- Flickr: The Church Marketing Lab. Upload your design for others to comment on or get inspired by other’s designs.
- Go Media Magazine: Not a “Christian” site but they are a standard for the industry.
