If you swallow a fly while you're asleep does it break your fast? If you melt a popsicle instead of eating it, to turn it into a drink for your "drink fast", then why are drunk calories okay while chewed ones are sinful? If you do a dawn to dusk fast, do you earn extra Brownie points with God if it's a long summer day and the sun won't set till nine o'clock? If you sleep all day while fasting to escape the hunger pangs, does it earn less blessing than a brother who works all day while fasting? Sounds like works and wages more than grace.
