Monday Morning Recap

• Its Monday morning and I am still beat from yesterday
• Picture of the day.  don’t judge folks based on looks.   —>
• We finished up our House of God – Stairway to Heaven series.  This turned out even better than I thought.
• We talked about the house of truth.
• Worship was just unleashed.  We just had a continuation of last weeks praise.
• In the middle of worship we had a time of unscripted testimonies.  We did not plan it but I knew it was the thing to do.
• It is always great to hear what God is doing in the lives of His people.
• By the way, if you aren’t sweating, you aren’t worshiping.  (not a rule mind you.  But if you have never sweat, felt your legs burn, or found yourself completely out of breath during praise and worship then you never really worshiped before.)
• I have to tell the truth.  I had to use the restroom extremely badly before I went up to preach.  I had about a gallon to drink and it could not wait.  I asked a few of the guys to go for me but none would comply.  So I had Lillian and Lucas do a song between the offering and the word.  Lillian had no idea that was coming.  Wesley had to go get her from the hall and make her go up.  Now you all know the truth.
• The service would have probably been a lot shorter if they had not done the song.
• Ok lets talk about it.  I used the word slut today in my message.  My wife has challenged me to find better verbiage.  Maybe you can help me out.  A woman who dressed completely inappropriate for public because the clothes reveal way to much skin dresses like a _____.  You fill in the blank and I will use it next time.
• If you weren’t there please disregard the previous bullet.
• If you are really curious you will have to listen to the podcast I guess.
• In the end, you have to love the truth even when it hurts.  Quit looking for folks to tell you what you want to hear.
• After service my wife got me to go to La Grandja.  To me it is like Pollo Tropical with a little better beans.
• Sorry, just not that excited.
• How bout that baptism?
• Seven folks went down.  At the end only one was not filled with the Holy Ghost.  Of course he has only gone to church twice in his life.  He got saved at 12:30 and by 3:45 he was wet and had a group of folks prophesying over him.  That’s whats up.
• One girl came up out of the water praying in tongues.  I love it when that happens.
• One girl who got baptized in water got baptized in the Holy Ghost last month.  In fact, the first time she spoke in tongues was on the microphone while I was praying for her.
• At the end an eighth person jumped in the water to bury the old man.
• Come Holy Ghost!
• Catherine got a new camera so there are some pretty cool pix on the site.
