Hey Zach, I blog to communicate with the folks at The Mission. Like someone else says I find it a form of digital discipleship. It makes no difference to me if someone comments or not. I asked for a name because I did not want to waste my time with a reply to someone who was posting a random comment.

Our main form of discipleship lies in sitting under the preaching of the word. Second is our connection groups. In these small groups people discuss the message and relate it to their lives. Third is through serving in a ministry. ASD is our advanced spiritual discipleship where I am disciplining a group of people in ministry giftings and character issues.

Z is short for Zach. I prefer not to supply my first name on these forms because I tend to be the type of person to guard my personal information on the internet.

It seemed like a reasonable handle. If I had chosen "funkychicken" as a handle, would that have gone over better, or do you not like internet handles at all?

As to the original question (about discipleship): you are, of course, under no obligation to answer at all. I thought most bloggers *liked* to hear from their readers from time to time and all that. Wasn't trying to create tension.

Blessings,
-Z

should say what's wrong with just Z? The comment system requires a three letter handle. ;)

"I start my coaching network this week. Lookin forward to it."

I'd like to hear what you are doing with this. And the ASD classes.

You usually post up the sermons and your take on your meetings, but I'm curious what you are doing for discipling.

Have a wonderful day in the Holy Ghost,
-Z

God is truly amazing! Church was packed on Sunday and this was just the beginning!!!!!!!!!!!!! Testimonies from left to right.. I'm like overwhelmed with how good he is. Oh man its lie you know God is good because he woke you up, but Aint nothing like his goodness when he just starts hooking life up radically. Im getting goosebumps just thinking about what he is doing at the mission and people around me!
