Half a Message?

July 14, 2009 at 3:08 pm Posted in The Mission

This past week The Mission (my Church in Delray Beach) posted the recording of the service with less than the whole message.  If the sole point of church was intellectual this would make no sense.

The fact is that when we gather together as a church God comes and dwells in the midst.  Some times this manifests in the worship, sometimes in the teaching, sometimes in prophecy, sometimes during the altar call and other times in a combination.

This past week the anointing was so strong throughout the service that my mind would drift off my message at times.  At some point I stopped preaching and the Holy Ghost fell upon people all over the room.

I found out after service that the beginning of the message was not recorded. At first I was a little annoyed because the service was so good.  Then, I decided that we would post what we had, including an extended portion of the ministry time.

The anointing is so strong upon upon that ministry time I know it will bless the hearer.  The same flow that was happening in the service is upon the recording and I know that it will affect those who listen in faith.

So I decided that half the message with the anointing is better than a whole dead message.  So yeah, half a message.

Yeah, it was still definitely worth the download and the listen. Plan on listening to the extended ministry time again as well. Good stuff.
