Consecrate
This week I started a new series titled Consecrate. Its not a cool or sexy series title. It will not get me listed in the Sun Sentinel. It won’t have church leaders begging me to come preach their conferences. But I am not preaching it for cool points. I am preaching it because the Lord told me to . . . and I am glad He did.
I am heart broken time and again as I watch people allow sin to destroy their lives and cut short their ministries. I am saddened every time I see disgusting pictures of people I love online. I really hurt when I see people turn to uncleanness to have the hurts in their lives soothed. And I get so saddened when I see a person that once had the hope of God in their eyes slowly deteriorate from the effects of sin.
I love watching people impacted by the presence of God. I hope through this series we can help folks hold on when the goosebumps fade.
